Off Campus Nolo is the second living lab of the Politecnico di Milano located within the indoor market of Nolo, a vibrant semi-peripherical neighborhood of Milan.
Bringing the university’s expertise to the local area, it develops new spatial/service design projects and transformative actions to enhance the wellbeing of local inhabitants.
Off Campus Nolo hosts an observatory on issues related to the regeneration and reactivation of the neighborhood, educational laboratories and workshops, seminars, open lectures, exhibitions and so on.
The living lab collaborates to come up with a variety of ways to resolve local issues in urgent need of improvement by encouraging active participation of local inhabitants through a more horizontal and open approach and building a proactive network of diverse stakeholders.
Currently, five Off Campus’s are operating within Milan.
