About Project

Airhead is a face mask developed by three friends who enjoyed cycling in air-polluted London, in collaboration with designers and researchers.

It is a custom-made design for not just cyclists, but also joggers, delivery staff, traffic wardens and other city dwellers who engage in frequent outdoor activities.

The mask’s filter blocks out over 99% of particles including PM10 fine dust, PM2.5 ultra fine dust and even particulate matter of 0.3 microns in diameter.

Convenient to wear due to its light weight, you can easily get a breath of fresh air, make a phone call or enjoy a drink without removing the mask by simply opening up the cover.

Cleaning is also simple and the product can be used semi-permanently by replacing the cover and filter.

The mask’s moulded seal ensures an airtight fit for variable face sizes and shapes, and exhalation valves prevent spectacles from steaming up.

Airhead helps city dwellers to enjoy outdoor activities comfortably and with peace of mind, even on days with bad air pollution.
