"Turning an abandoned space into a dynamic design exhibition space Countless Cities"
Countless Cities is a biennale held since June 2019 at the Farm Cultural Park, a contemporary art center located
in the heart of the rural town of Favara on the island of Sicily, Italy and the Farm Cultural Park is a project that has transformed the old,
semi-abandoned city center of Favara into a contemporary art exhibition and community space.
This project showcases the innovative experiments of photographers, architects and creators who have contributed to making make cities around
the world unique. In addition, it awakened the entire region to think about the city as local residents directly participated in projects like building
the pavilion. It also attracted many visitors by turning empty houses into exhibition and cultural event spaces, providing jobs to residents,
transforming devastated rural towns into art villages and revitalizing them.
With this project, we will continue to operate as a city we want to live in, by investing in public space and sustainable
housing estates; placing the education of future generations and jobs that prevent young people from migrating;
and continuously developing projects to improve the quality of life of citizens.
