Research-based design workshops were held to help undergraduate and graduate students
discover designs for a sustainable city that aspires toward a harmonious relationship between
people and the environment.
In September, 31 participating teams were selected, and the participating students gathered
for the first time at the interim presentation “Human City Idea Talk” held on November 14. The presentation served as a place for in-depth exchanges through which each team could reflect
on its project. Also, "Human City Idea Talk 2.0" took place on December 14, which helped
share the results of the workshop widely. Both events provided an opportunity to communicate the visions presented by the students with citizens through a YouTube livestream.
More than 180 students presented various design solutions through Human City Design Workshop, which enabled to take one step closer to 'Human City'. The students' ideas will later be
shown at an exhibition and made into a book as well, spreaded to more citizens.
