The Seoul Design 2023 Conference held a special talk around ‘Sustainable Cities and the Role of Design’ with Birgit Lohmann (Italy), co-founder of global design magazine DesignBoom, world-renowned architect Shigeru Ban (Japan) and Lee Young-Hye, president and CEO of media company Design House.
The Seoul Design 2023 Conference took place on October 26 at DDP Art Hall 1. This year’s conference was an opportunity for the finalist of Human City Design Award 2020 Boonserm Premthada and the finalists of Seoul Design Award 2023 to discuss together the value of creating a sustainable daily life.
Furthermore, they shared their experiences of sustainable design where humans coexist in harmony with the environment under the theme of Valuable Life, and shared their visions for the future with fellow designers and citizens.
